I’m excited to announce that my latest podcast is officially live! In this post I’d like to introduce you to SysAdmin Weekly podcast and share our plans for the show! This podcast is a podcast by SysAdmins FOR SysAdmins and aims to provide timely and relevant info to time-strapped administrators working in the trenches, keeping our digital world spinning.
Andy’s History with Podcasts
I’ve worked on several podcasts in the past, both as a host and as a guest. All of the shows I’ve hosted were all sponsored and influenced by whatever entity I was working with at my day job at the time.
SysAdmin Weekly is the first podcast I’ve worked on that 100% belongs to the hosts - myself and my awesome co-host Eric Siron.
What is Project Runspace?
Also worth noting is the fact that you’ll see mention of “Project Runspace” as part of this show as well. Project Runspace is a future non-profit entity that Eric and I have been working to build up that (in short) will act as a resource to help train the next generation of system administrators. In fact if you’d like more information on Project Runspace, Eric and I discuss it in more detail in the very first episode of SysAdmin Weekly!
